When the wrong person (racist assholes) will take what you're doing/saying and run with it as approval, the right thing is to stop. If terrible person thinks what you're doing is good, then you stop doing it. Period. This thread was excellent. Calling people out matters. Speaking up matters.

Tonight, I made my very first waffle. I can make crème brûlée. Holiday meals from soup to nuts from scratch. But I’ve somehow lived my adult life having never made a waffle myself. So, I learned how to make a waffle. And it was good. The bottom line here is: learning is never linear. 1/?
