Sleeping in the office while work goes on to renovate the bedroom has some perks. Waking up to this.

Wish me luck as I try to condense everything I want to say into 30mins

I am talking about crisis communication again this morning but am taking a bit of a departure from my usual approach. This will either go well or badly - no in between. I will give an update later 😟

My thoughts this Monday morning are with my Ukrainian colleagues.

This felt relevant for today. I am ending the week in a different part of the UK after clocking up a few miles. The impact of all situations comes in many forms.

Yesterday the focus should have been on the families - today my thoughts remain with them and I felt compelled to review yesterday amandacomms1.wordpress.com/2025/01/31/c...

This is what you get when Trump is in the White House. Incidents, crises and emergencies will be 'used' and there is not consideration for the due processes and investigation. At the heart of this are grieving families. Watching this is excruciating

Up in the middle of the night to get a flight down to London. Necessary for the work and a busy day ahead before flying back tonight. A morning amid holidaymakers not helping my tiredness.

First day in my proper office. Motoring through work and not a bad view.

Just writing the latest crisis comms newsletter and there was a lot to consider. A little bit of research while on the train after an interesting day with housing sector communicators. Good conversations and lots to discuss. It has reminded me why I do what I do.
