Flowers outside libraries, an occasional series.

The thing about targeting activists is they’re a group that specifically sees what others fear and run towards it. So proud of Yunseo, of Momodou, each putting their lives on the line to better a country that will not even include them as its members. We owe them a debt.

Forgot about this, but was rage scrolling through news, and it came to mind. Released in the 80s, featuring John Lydon of the Sex Pistols and rapper and originator of breakbeat DJing Afrika Bambaataa. #johnlydon #afrikabamaataa

I hate money. I hate that this world runs on money. I hate that everything costs money. I hate that people with money can get away with any crimes. I hate that people without money get punished for not having money.

Part of my long-term goals: decenter data gods as arbiters of consumption. I've taken many a social media sabbatical, and it's always felt more right for me to create and share tangibly and more wrong clamoring back on apps to throw work out like meat in a cage. #createmagazine #artistslife

I love this so much! At the inauguration, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wore a distinctive collar adorned with cowrie shells, which are believed to offer protection from evil in African traditions. This choice mirrors the late Justice Ginsburg’s practice of using collars to convey a message.

"I think about my own death ... Tell him not to mention that I have a Nobel Peace Prize--that isn't important ... I'd like somebody to mention that day that Martin Luther King, Jr. tried to give his life serving others." #mlkday2025
