Back in September 2016 I was chatting with a Liberian Lyft driver in Dallas and he said that Americans have no idea how bad things can get when the government is truly corrupt. I think about that conversation a lot.

Is it weird that one of my favorite places to stroll is the neighborhood cemetery? I've been exploring here for over 40 years and still find new things all the time. Does the fact that this will be my final resting place make it more or less weird? I have the deed to the plot and everything.
