god it's amazing just how good 2019 was for music, and how much of it i still discover... i got into music more broadly at what i felt was far too late, but really, it's probably never too late

today in queens i came across what had to be some kind of environmental storytelling

just that period reminder that content posted to Bluesky is public to *anybody*. if you don't want to see it used in a court of law, don't post it here. and DMs here are not E2EE, they can be subpoened. a great use for bsky DMs is to share secure comms and move the conversation there.

if i had a nickel for each new deltarune release that happened in the midst of a pivotal life change, i'd have three nickels, which is pretty cool!! (extremely excited to play! time is truly a wild beast)

May! And *may* I say, wow! Just wow!! A very, very eventful month on its own, but some incredible information I was told midway through has strengthened my resolve like never before. The second half of my year is no longer shrouded in fog. So much change is coming quite soon - June's gonna be busy!

such a wonderful adventure day today! almost done! so much fun walking, with some ferries to ferry me near the start and ends of the journey! god, i want to keep exploring, no matter where i am, for as long as i draw breath

i find myself enjoying the planning of detailed itineraries for travel to a place, for a show or event, in a cheaper way that involves buses/amtrak if possible. my sgdq '23 travel was sorta tiring, but fun! having a place to Stay or Crash is usually the main issue now... the urge is coming back aaaa

it's not often i clock in and think "wow, who closed last night? everything's in order!" instead of "WHO in the hell closed last night." but i do welcome the change!

let's make it a weekend of positive curses

I can only describe my April as a month that was equivalent to a loop-de-looping rollercoaster. At the end of it, I finally see an indeterminately-sized glimmer of hope for the near future; plans can happen and things may change for the better, if you just try. Now, onward to an optimistic May!

the last week has been the week of finally feeling alive again

allergies congesting me to the point of not being able to taste things is like the seventh level of hell. imo

wow, sharon hill is so good for watching the amtrak trains go by!

starting training for a new job later this week. think i will use my last free tuesday tomorrow to take a day trip to philly again. been a while! got unfinished business (i have yet to ride several SEPTA lines, and also PATCO! this must be amended...)

would anyone happen to know of a good android-supporting note-taking/journaling app? preferably one that can handle large amounts of text in a single document; i keep running into the problem of journals getting so long that my app starts to lag, especially while typing!

March. Umm, not really very great overall. I'd rather not go into it, but nonetheless I'm taking my spark of optimism and bringing it into April now. I have to. The next several months are kinda very important; and time is relentless.

bravely default will no longer be trapped on the 3ds!!!!! this means so much to me and i Will be playing

the next game i've finally been experiencing for the first time has been night in the woods. i think i can pinpoint the moment i fell in love with this game to when rainy day played for the first time, and i sat there and closed my eyes and just listened to the entire song before doing anything

what if we kissed in the decommissioned BART train

At the end of everything, hold onto anything.

low gravity, bumpers, grinders, and a death meter to manage, all in the same level? it's more likely than you think. this level in particular is kind of a mess to design, but in a fun way at least! #smw

not sure what i should snack on tonight.... maybe wasabi peas?

February! Mostly a great month, with two wonderfully memorable trips at the beginning and middle! And the rest of the month being comfortably good or at least average. I'm not as sure what to expect out of March this time, so for now I'll hope that good things happen, y'know?

i was cleaning my game collection shelves, and noticed my ps5 game shelf was the dustiest one by far. this is a subtle reference to the fact that the ps5 has no games

funny how i got so attached to the struggle, given how massively late i tried playing through celeste in earnest. two months later, i just finished farewell - better late than never. i fell in love with this game in almost every aspect and i'm so happy i finally did the climb.

are you for real twitch??? i should have most of my runs locally recorded already, i'll double check, but fuck this is gonna hugely impact the speedrun community's old vod history. ugh

i'm feeling an overpowering urge to go to a bagel shop in the morning after doing it with my friend in boston..... maybe i've finally come around to the fresh bagel + drip coffee combo

can't start valentine's weekend without a balanced amtrak breakfast!!!

nothing like going on a really long brooklyn walk in the wonderfully snowy weather tonight to, among several other things, prove that GODDD i wish i had a proper digital camera to carry around and do amateur photography with!!!

my desire to set a level in something that sorta looks like a train resulted in a lot of different ways of using thwomps #smw (also shhh i know the status bar is layered wrong ......)

Blue skies...I could get used to this!

A new year means a new Year in Pixels for me to fill out, of course. It began with January..... it was a solid month for the most part, and MagFest near the end of it was wonderful. For several reasons I have not been feeling at my best this week, mentally. Gotta hope that February will be better.
