Was thinking today on my walk about how what we need are socially acceptable ways for boys and young men to find belonging and acceptance that are nonviolent, pro-social and affirm their masculinity. I feel like the frameworks are there, at least in potentiality.

It's worth noting that there's a concept called the transition cliff, where disabled kids are most vulnerable at age 22 when their public school education ends. There is already a lack of services, and this will, of course, make it worse.

Ok yesterday was Not Good. I have a head cold, so I spent too much time scrolling. Today…got a loaf of bread started and rising, live streamed mass, and about to just I dunno. Knit the day away until it’s time to make dinner. Ugh that sounds very trad wife, but I swear I’m just twee instead.

So a fun thing was seeing an article on the OCR getting blocked from its investigations…and going “oh! I posted about this in 2017!” and finding what I posted in order to re-share and discovering I’d memory-holed some more disgusting stuff.
