Some folks are just *so* so close to saying "we need to let men do whatever they want to women, otherwise they'll hold our whole society hostage," but they keep getting tongue-tied and it comes out as "male loneliness epidemic"

Told you

It's his birthday today. 🎂

I know I’m lucky in a few different ways, but… Looking back on things, it’s *scary* how close I could’ve been to being red-pilled, or part of the Incel herd, or part of the male loneliness epidemic. Ffs even some gay guys I knew - who should’ve known better - are part of it now.

I swear if anywhere is going to become the 51st state of America, it’s the UK.

Doctor Who: Lucky Day I’m sure I predicted there’d be a UNIT helicopter outside of a church at night last year lol But I didn’t expect this location is where the episode would pivot from middling, to fiercely relevant. Wanted an episode to call out toxic grifting bullshit for years.

the media is going to assist in making youth transgender care illegal and then they’ll move onto their next goal of making it illegal across the board. anyone going along with this is a fascist

OK so. This month, my royalties from Patreon plummeted by 15%. Same number of US Dollars, much lower value. In a couple of months I predict I'm going to see my PoD royalties from the US go the same way. Point being, we're all going to feel this.

As if we didn't have *enough* institutional transphobia to worry about, the US now has its own version of the Cass Report, baselessly contesting the efficacy of transition care without even daring to name the author(s). The global trans panic is aiming for total and utter trans epistemicide.

Itch is one of the most important resources on the web right now to get started as a games developer, if not _the_ most important resource. To see it struggling to provide its services because AI companies don't want to respect the boundaries of the internet makes me extremely angry.

I think people mostly just don't like the phrase "all art I political" because they think of politics in a very specific electoral way and not as a broad label for the conditions that shape our perspective, which funnily enough is very political

Psycholonials: 🥺

A fun fact is that Hitler had his final freakout after hearing a radio broadcast detailing how joyful Italians spent a day spitting on Mussolini's body in a gutter.

Please help us correct misinformation! Our hotline is being incorrectly shared as "Canada's national suicide hotline open toll free for Americans". We are not a general crisis hotline, we exist exclusively to support the trans community. Find out more @ translifeline.org

(to the tune of Painkiller) HE IS THE BOYKISSER THIS IS THE BOYKISSER

This moment when the penny drops that trying to implement bathroom bans is an impossibility for the former Tory Chief Secretary Simon Clarke is delicious.

Happy #InternationalCrowandRavenAppreciationDay! Dinosaurs are always allies in the fight against folks who wanna be jerkfaces.

youtu.be/Z6oyCV-Jwi8?... Recorded something fun last night with some friends

If you had to pick a gaming system or setup, what would you pick? I’m very aware that asking this is like requesting a fucking shape graph measuring performance, portability, upgradability, first party, third party, pricing, services, longevity, privacy, security, flexibility, ownership and ethics.

Wikipedia never forced itself into every program, app, and browser I use. It never plagiarized my books. The scale of environmental damage caused by AI computing power is a global threat. AI is corporate-controlled, which is why Wikipedia & every other quasi-public source of info - is under threat.

Doctor Who: The Well I got some enjoyment out of it of course, not bad, but… ehh. How do I say this without spoiling it? Wild Blue Yonder did it right, with it having a focused script and being more of a spiritual successor, not a literal one. If you know, you know.

Probably worth saving this number

I’ve been trying to draw again (in photoshop) and the thing is… I find it easy to make something ‘okayish’ as long as it’s a very gritty, stiff, moody kind of look to match my scratchy method. But my biggest drive and frustration is that really I wish I could do… clean, expressive and bright.

Rewatching it and this line stood out to me as prescient advice lol. “Scrolling up and down *does not work*, we need to go… out”.

If you can do nothing else, please help share this so that it may reach eyes who are better equipped to help in the times to come. Trans rights are human rights.

The human rights cards thing didn't sit well with me and I couldn't articulate why, but this is why.

With how JK Rowling was behaving, I don't blame Pedro Pascal for calling her a heinous loser; the people on Twitter can eat one.

Doctor Who: Lux I really enjoyed this. The sheer novelty of its main effect’s execution also really just makes me appreciate how the idea of a 2D animated alien like Lux is perfect for the show.

DOJ canceled the training for law enforcement that helps prevent online child predators from getting at our children. Doesn’t make us safer. Doesn’t make govt more efficient.

:p

I guess the slightest silver lining is that the rumoured day of martial law has been and gone without anything enacted? But then has anything really improved either?

If you want a big RPG and you're thinking about buying the Oblivion remake, maybe just... maybe just wait a day. A lot can happen in a day! You never know! Maybe just hold off for like 24 hours and then decide.

Anyways, here’s what the actual “Ultimate English Wizard” has to say on trans issues

So Google's latest consent violation is them generating "AI" audio of your voice in YouTube as an opt-out "service." Here's how to turn it off (original images reposted with alt text):

When a straight judge starts ruling who is a lesbian, you can bet 5 quid it's not to protect lesbians, it's to remove your protections in the future claiming you are not a lesbian due to some technicality. The UK SC ruling left the door open for future attacks on LGB people.
