Anyone else horrified by the state of the world? Well, I have a new song coming out very soon about just that, and fighting back! But social media is increasingly flaky, so please consider joining my newsletter here: amyhopwood.co.uk/music/newsle... (Photo by Nijwam Swargiary on Unsplash)

I was very happy to go back to my singing roots at the Sailors Return folk night in Weymouth this week. And also very reassured to test out my newest song in public for the first time and discover that the chorus is indeed as sing-along-able as I'd hoped! Thank you!

I’m very pleased to say that the number of people who have chosen to become a patron of my work is continuing to grow. Our next “Inner Circle” get together will be on Sunday 15th December at 4pm. It’s an informal hour on Zoom to... 1/2

Here are some of the stars of the River and Fish video, very excited that their film is an Official Selection for the Himachal Short Film Festival in India! But you don't need to travel to Himachal, you can watch the video here! youtu.be/NEOeqzQMRlI?...

A quick question to help me with a new song! Could you tell me one thing you find frustrating or annoying about ageing? Extra points if you've got a funny spin on it, but there's no requirement for humour! 1/2

How's your week been? If it's been a little tough, or you are feeling generally worried about the state of the world, please do take a listen to my latest song. It might just make you feel a teeny weeny bit better x Listen or watch the music video here: linktr.ee/AllShallBeWe...

The music video for All Shall Be Well is strongly influenced by the wonderful drawings of Jan Pienkowski. I loved this set of miniature fairy tale books when I was a child, and I still do. They were crammed full of very detailed black silhouettes of palaces, witches, dragons and the like... 1/2

Hurray! That’s 19 DJs who have played All Shall Be Well on their folk music radio shows so far!! Have you listened yet? linktr.ee/AllShallBeWe...

I don't know, have you ever just tried maybe, not being shitty? 🤷‍♂️

If you have 10 minutes spare at 7pm on Saturday, why not join me online for the premiere of my new music video! Just search AmyHopwoodMusic on YouTube, or follow this link: youtu.be/W46siT-03Mk

This is your invite to the YouTube Premiere of my video for “All Shall Be Well”! It’s a hand drawn animation based on one lone voice singing out and gradually being joined by 20 others, as the lights switch on and off in the building, mirroring what happens in the song. I’d love you to join... 1/2

“This too shall pass” is a key phrase in my new song, and I love the fable that it comes from… It is said that there was a powerful king who assembled all his wise men and asked them to create a ring which would make him happy when he was sad, and that would be true and appropriate in all... 1/3

Julian of Norwich wrote the Revelations of Divine Love in the Middle Ages. They are the earliest surviving English language works attributed to a woman, and include the backbone phrase of my new song: “All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well”. 1/2

Well, hello Blue Sky! I must say it seems much nicer here... :-) In a similar spirit, I'll share my new song, only released a couple of days ago. It's a stoic marching song for tough times... linktr.ee/AllShallBeWe...
