Gutting the Department of Education will impact everything from internet access to school buses. Let’s not make it harder to learn.

Ya'll...I just...what are we doing?

What are we doing? Seriously? It's time for Congress to stop this craziness. @democrats.org - do something!

Good, quick read. Some food for thought here.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

On this Day of Remembrance, we honor the 120,000 Japanese Americans unjustly imprisoned during WWII because of their heritage. Their resilience remind us to never forget the lessons of history. We will continue to fight for justice, equality, and civil rights for all.

I just spent the last hour reading these heartbreaking posts. As a former VA employee (I LOVED my job), I'm so disgusted. We are losing decades of research, care, leaders & public servants. It will takes years (prob decades) to fix this & that's if people decide they want to serve this country again

This was one of RFK Jr.’s first orders after being sworn in. Just an astonishing denial of science and will cause so much pain to the 45 million Americans facing mental health challenges.

Encyclopædia Britannica will continue to use ‘Gulf of Mexico’ for a few reasons: -We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S. -The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous. 🧵⬇️

KY GOV. BESHEAR: “If they eliminated the Department of Education and its funding, that’s half a billion dollars in meals for kids that otherwise might go hungry.”

A statement from the Kennedy Center

Well said, Pete Buttigieg

It only took less than 2 weeks for them to announce internment camps. Absolutely disgusting. I'm so ashamed of us.

Kamala Harris: NO NEW TAXES on anyone earning under $400,000. Trump: HIGHER TAXES on everyone earning under $360,000. See the difference? 👀

What a great idea!

Red Tails, a George Lucas movie about the Tuskegee Airmen, is available to stream on Disney+.

If you need a how-to…

President Trump has reversed an executive order by former President Joe Biden that calls for federal agencies to promote voter registration.

It was never a war against women, right? Beyond disgusted...and I feel like I'm going to be saying that a lot.

Trump just withdrew the United States from the World Health Organization. The US is now the only country in the world besides Liechtenstein to not be a member of the organization.

You will be overwhelmed trying to keep up what the Trump administration is doing every minute. I focus on my state. Most of the horrible executive orders will run through state government. Start with them. Your sheriffs. Your county commissioners. State Rep. State Senator. Governor.

I hope all the people who voted for Trump are happy- he's about to ruin it for everyone...including you. This doesn't help the American people. It only helps big corps. #resistance

Today, "shock and awe" strategy—and it's our job to be neither shocked nor awed. We know what's coming. And it's our job to get ready to fight back.

A devastating loss. Cecile Richards was an extraordinary human being and leader. I was fortunate to know her and send my condolences to her loved ones. Cecile leaves behind a powerful legacy of activism and service on behalf of women everywhere.

Happy new year! See ya 2024 and hello 2025. Let's do this!

2025 is an emerald year for me and I'm so ready for it! #2025 #emeraldyear

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things." Merry Christmas, Bluey fam. May your holidays be filled with gratitude and good cheer.

In the Midwest for the holidays and I forgot how genuinely nice people are here. I miss that and didn't realize how much I needed that right now. #Midwest #costsnothingtobenice #happyholidays

Out of office officially up! #oops #ineedabreak

The shutdown chaos is the full responsibility of Donald Trump and Elon Musk. If a multibillionaire says jump, the GOP says "how high?"—and working people suffer. As Democrats, let's remind the country that we're the ones fighting for a government that actually works for working people.

People who've never been dependent on a paycheck should not get to decide how long you can go without yours.

When they talk about privatizing Veterans’ care and Medicare, they mean allowing companies to provide healthcare for a profit. But how do companies make those profits? By *denying* care to many who need it. Don’t get fooled by the “privatization” label. It means “for profit” and YOU are the cost.

BREAKING: Special Counsel Jack Smith just filed a motion to dismiss all charges against trump for January 6th, and now I'm fucking sick to my stomach.

Good morning! Not waking up in Scotland today - bummer. Guess I'll just need to plan my return trip! #goodmorning #Scotland #Edinburgh #travel

Good morning Blue Sky! Getting ready for another day and was thinking about this sunrise in Maine so I thought I'd share. Hopefully it makes your day a little better & gives you the inspiration to fight to make a better world (we are going to need every ounce for the next four years). #goodmorning

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Each year, the trans community loses too many lives, especially trans women of color, to hate and violence. More than ever, we must stand by our trans family and support them, hold space for them, and insist the scapegoating and targeting stop. Now.
