that's kinda profound once you think about it

I think it's nice to say that no single person had a huge impact on how I think, yet that is a little scary because it makes it very hard to figure out a way to bring this complexity forwards.

I oscillate between wanting to be completely out of any social media and feeling the urge to spread a message like so many others have (and have built me the way I am today).

a startup should be a test-driven business

There’s a fun trend in Argentinian slang of describing someone with an overly high opinion of themselves as a powerful fictional character, but of a tiny territory. My favourite examples are “Yeti of the fridge freezer,” “Aquaman of the toilet bowl,” and “Tarzan of the flowerpot”

for unknown reasons I feel no more pleasure in drinking coffee after lunch

I'm really used to using (mostly-)test-driven development on my own projects, and so I am used to refactor mercilessly and be comfortable with counting on tests to catch any unexpected changed behavior. I just forget that on my work codebase we have a few folders on the coverage exception list, ops

I've made some good progress on the system design sketch for the university's 5-week-mobile-app challenge. Is this achievable? Yes. Considering we work full time and have many other classes? Well... to be known in 4 weeks.

Somebody once called me an 'unicorn developer' because I did get to the top 1% salary in my country in less then 2 years of work experience. the thing is: I win less than the 'low' wage (based on Indeed) of a Northern first-world front-end developer would in my position in my company's country.

it's quite weird how fast my mind swings from software design to 'what should I cook on my next camping trip?'

do I need to disable portuguese from my feed to stop seeing the waterfall gif?

do you feel like doing it different when in a new social media, like a 'who do I want to be' moment? weird space, and fleeting feeling - soon to be 'oh, fuck it, I'll just like these random memes'
