okay, it’s time for me to finally weigh in: it’s probably a bad sign that guys are just doing sieg heils in public again

Not a bad way to start the week :)

This project tracks government attempts to restrict or prohibit scientific research, education, or discussion, or the publication or use of scientific information. Read more about the tracker and related... Or contribute to the database. #science climate.law.columbia.edu/Silencing-Sc...

so theres all that money to pay for something we could literally organise and do ourselves, since we basically do everything already, but theres never money to hire permanent staff and redundancies are oh so common yeah.

Philosophy Friends: I am so excited to share with you all the latest episode of #TheYoungIdealist Series on Classical German Philosophy & Post-Kantian Thought. This episode features: Randolph Dible discussing the life & Phenomenology of Hedwig Conrad-Martius. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dy98...

It's a burden being so much smarter than my critics 😔

My first single-author empirical paper has been accepted at JCASP😊Can’t wait to share it. It explores(via Critical Discursive Psy)the ideological dilemmas in the discursive negotiation of online sexual consent and coercion, and how sexist discourse is transcending from the real world into cyberspace

😞

Check out our latest paper 😁❤️

This has been by far the best Xmas gift I received this year :) 10/10 would recommend

Some news re my next postdoc :)

New paper(not v political, more psy oriented). Myself, S. Seymour Smith, R. Kitson-Boyce+M.Marriott used Critical Discursive Psychology+we interviewed 30 UK teachers. Our study unpacks how they construct sexting, consent, and gender from a feminist perspective onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...

v important work (and , unfortunately so, so validating to read this)

👏

re-posting our work with @efpraxiaz.bsky.social to promote it. feel free to read our paper, give us feedback and so on

WHAT

As a qual researcher it’s incredible that this still seems like a new idea. I’m glad of any call for reflexivity but am really uncomfortable that what we’ve accepted as hard science for decades, hasn’t been subject to the most cursory self reflection.
