5 things I did last week 1. Lodged and fed a young person who was released after years of unjust incarceration 2. Drove a 2008 Honda Fit (better for planet than any new electric vehicle *and* outperforms a Cybertruck in snow)

My son relies on Medicaid for mental health meds, plus diabetes meds bc of an incompetent, racist psychiatrist who pushed him to say he had hallucinations & then prescribed a combo that triggered sudden onset t2 diabetes that almost killed him. Paying for his meds is the least this country can do.

I’ve been saving some severance memes

I never thought it would happen but my biggest Muppet crush is no longer the barely-verbal drummer. In times like these you want a guy who can express himself. Vehemently. 🥰

I don’t ideologically believe in kicking kids out of their parental home but man sometimes I really get why people do it

Community care is the bedrock we build on

I have gone the last five years without owning iron or ironing board. But I decided I wanted to sew some pajama pants and it turns out you can’t really so without an iron. So now I have one. So much for sticking it to the man.

One thing about me is I really believe in music as resistance and oh my god, this is it youtube.com/shorts/PGzFf...

Great essay not just on #takedowntesla but how it's working and how it exemplifies direct action (Waging Nonviolence is always worth checking out):

Hey Bluesky community what ideas do you have for my friend who lost a job almost a year ago (due to disability although that was not clear to them or anyone at the time) and has just lost their rental assistance? They have applied for SSDI. They’re in that trough. I can help a little but not enough.

Apocalypse life hacks (as long as the power stays on)

This is a bad man.

The man who breadcrumbed me for most of 2019 (I didn’t know what that was then) & then ghosted when I asked him to wait a couple hours while I finished my workday texted a “hey hey” at 11:30 last night. Tempted to respond with an absolute wall of text telling him my entire life story since then.
