Did you know you can download the whole of wikipedia and put it on an SD card in a cheap e-reader?

One of the reasons I haven't been in any hurry to release the code for my voxel displays is that I suspect the number of people who will actually find it useful is in the low single digits. I've now added a simulator, so you can at least play with the toys.

I made this lens a while ago, but didn't shoot any good footage of it. I'm all set up for parallax wobbles now.

I’ve been disappointed with previously advertised comets and wasn’t expecting to see much, but there it was.

I made a Doom source port that runs within a PDF file. PDFs support Javascript, so Emscripten is used to compile Doom to asm.js, which is then run within the PDF engine. Input/output is done by manipulating text input fields. doompdf.pages.dev/doom.pdf github.com/ading2210/do...

I uploaded another video of the GTA port because angry internet people were complaining about the lack of camera motion in the previous one. youtu.be/onYH5gvlnzE

I have finally got the first prototype of the Tim Aidley PicoMachine up and running - a very heavy, crappy laptop designed explicitly for running @lexaloffle.bsky.social 's Pico-8 and Picotron on. It even has built-in storage and a floppy drive!

My new favourite DOOM mod.

Importing level models from various games to see what would work in *3D*. Minecraft was disappointing (unrecognisable at any playable scale). Liberty City from GTA 3 looks really good, and I think it's worth getting some vehicle physics going.

Amazing what these Arm processors can do.
