Not to stir up drama, but I genuinely can't believe the reviews are as mixed as they are. This game is *incredible* in my opinion, so far at least (about 20 hours in). Maybe it's just not for everyone, but I think Obsidian have made something really special.

It's so easy to resent my sense of empathy in times like these because of empathy burnout, but I have to remind myself that it's a gift. It's what guides me towards the things that matter. The trick is just finding a balance between not caring and caring too much.

One important note is enforcement: How does one enforce these anti-trans bills? Genital inspections? Mass chromosome testing?
I'll note they tried the later in 1996 in the Olympics, and several cisgender women discovered they have Y chromosomes.
Intersex traits are more common than one thinks.

Hey I mean, if they're expecting it then we might as well do it. If we fail, we just get pardoned because it was only a 'peaceful protest' and not a 'real insurrection', and if we succeed we get to keep our rights! It's a win-win!
