At this point I'm entirely convinced Trump is just an agent of Putin. He'd rather the US use it's military assets on Canada or Mexico rather than help Ukraine fight Russia. He is going to try to withdraw from NATO and pursue authoritarianism and illiberalism in the US. Putin couldn't be happier.
