Evan Williams: In appreciation open.substack.com/pub/thecelti...

This week's In Conversation podcast sees @andrewh-celticu.bsky.social chat with the legendary Tom Boyd

Tom was great value. Of all the Celtic managers he worked with, only one he had little time for... available to all paid subscribers on CU.

We need more buses across the country to invest in local economies, says @SarahBoyack. Every level of government needs to work together #ClimateChange @ScotLINK @SERAScotland

We’re on the brink of stopping new oil and gas drilling for good. Rosebank’s approval has been overturned in the courts, and it falls to Starmer’s government to decide whether to re-approve it or not. 🧵👇

Great when the giddiness can overwhelm the agony but Celtic were that good.

An audio interview this week - my tech let me down - and one of my personal favs. Peter Latchford was a joy, great Stein and 10 men won the league tales. And, ahead of Bayern, strong words on what denied Celtic a European Cup semi-final in 1980.

The twin imposters were hovering over my shoulders when writing this. But what I will say is...get right into 'em, Celtic!

Scapegoating refugees has always been a deliberate ploy by governments to distract from their own domestic failures. Pandering to Reform UK will backfire — and vulnerable people will pay the price. End dangerous crossings by opening safe routes for fellow human beings instead.

Imagine owning every proper Celtic book. Peter doesn't have to imagine. A great fella discusses how he assembled a great collection.

You can believe the failure to sign a striker was a bummer but still not be bummed out. My take for Celtic Underground full subscribers.

The profound love Jenna has for her dad - our dear Tommy Burns - and mum was so palpable as we went deep on that love, loss and grief for those we cherish. Such respect to Jenna. I hope we drew comfort from each other and give comfort to others who miss their parents.

Celtic better be busy in the transfer market before the window closes. For Champions League play off - based on last night's performance - they need a new centre back, two new full backs, two midfielders, a winger, and another striker, of course.

All the guff about Celtic showing a lack of ambition for selling Kyogo this week was tonight exposed as utter bull. Some folk can't see beyond their noses. I'd advise all in the Celtic fraternity to show more intellectual rigour than those paid to be knee jerk. Don't be them.

Could we have witnessed the last player to reach the 100-goal mark for Celtic goals? I fear perhaps so. My latest article for Celtic Underground.

A Eurovision ramble This week's match view podcast reviews YB, previews Villa and we talk about Kyogo, Jota and VAR

Jota back, KT to follow, Celtic should just go the whole hog with getting the band back together, wait till the summer and sign Eddy (Édouard, to give Sunday name, cannot come now because he has already played for two different clubs this season). Some fillup for the songbook as well as team...

Harry and I were tangent-tastic on this one. But good to chat.

@andrewh-celticu.bsky.social on tonight's game open.substack.com/pub/thecelti...

This weeks In Conversation saw @andrewh-celticu.bsky.social chatting with Mark McNally. Here he is discussing Liam Brady

While many struggle to make ends meet, the wealth of the super-rich has soared. It doesn’t have to be this way. There’s another way—one that prioritises fairness, sustainability, and equality. It starts with making those at the top pay their fair share. Find out more ➡️ bit.ly/40FunBq #Davos

Mark McNally, Celtic player 1995-98 In my life, I can't think of many more maligned players than this guy at Celtic. Despite anything he's always gave he all. Great interview with @andrewh-celticu.bsky.social out now I'd recommend to listen to. www.thecelticwiki.com/players/all-... #CelticFC

Disappointed in some of the sour reactions to the cup win over Kilmarnock. Some really bright football and should have slammed in at least five. Felt a team feeling its way back towards a very good place.

We had a great "In conversation" guest this past week. More to come soon with current game chat out very very soon.
