So, I may be canceling my Netflix subscription.

I've been obsessively following All Tomorrows over the last few years and I'd like to think that my descendants would either be Satyriacs or Snake People.

I'd love to see Naveen play Khan on an episode of Strange New Worlds. They could make it work by either having his memory wiped at the end of the episode or he and Kirk's paths will never cross. And this is also why I think they introduced Kirk too soon on SNW!

I had been debating hitting unfriend/unfollow on an acquaintance who had turned into a crypto-bro but a few recent pro-Trump comments made that decision a whole lot easier!

Presently debating if I want to pay for an after 2 pm pass for Toronto ComiCon just to see James Marsters. There's also the cast of Supernatural but I only watched the first couple seasons of that show.

Going to sound like a bit of an indie snob, but I like the version of 'Red' that's on Treble Charger's NC17 better than the version that's on Maybe It's Me.

I've started re-reading Brian Lumley's Necroscope series and I'm honestly surprised that no one has tried to make a series or movies from it. It would have to be on cable or a streaming service given the content!

I did my first watch of BTVS recently and I'm deeply saddened by this news. Michelle's family has my sympathy.

As long as it isn't as boring as the Netflix Punisher series and we see the return of Dinah Madani, I'll be happy!

It's going to be interesting to see if this movie takes a serious tone or if it plays up the campy elements of the '80's series. Personally, I hope that it doesn't take itself too seriously. It would be a bold, refreshing move.

I'm listening to Tokyo Police Club and I still kick myself for missing their farewell gigs. I remember interviewing them when they were first starting out!

Hey @fanexpocanada.bsky.social, I'm just putting making the amazing and inspirational @nicoleamaines.bsky.social a guest at this year's event out there again!

I recreated my tape collection in Spotify a couple years back and I have to admit, it's weird not hearing the hiss and rattle of a tape player while listening to the music.

Remember the good old days when shows used to have a new season every year? It shouldn't take two to three years to shoot eight to 10 episodes!

I still say that "Hawthorne Heights" sounds more like the name of a bad early 2000's drama about a bunch of 20'somethings trying to find themselves after college, living in a neighborhood they realistically couldn't afford and of course, there's romantic tension between two of them.

When people say "unalive" instead of "kill", it pisses me off to an irrational degree.

I still say I'd love to cosplay as Machine Head from Invincible if I had the skill and budget. Right down to finding a way to auto tune my voice when I was wearing the mask. youtube.com/shorts/z8sD2...

Just putting this out there again but I have an idea for a found footage horror movie that would see the crew of a home improvement show awakening evil spirits in the house they're flipping.

I saw that The Expanse is leaving Prime Video and if you're looking for an amazing sci-fi series, I cannot recommend it enough! youtu.be/kQuTAPWJxNo?...

Oh, and I have a music blog that I update irregularly. It's mostly been playlists the last few years. I'm still on the bird app. Find me @hangingatback. hangingattheback.wordpress.com

Hunter Schafer reveals that her new passport now lists her as ‘Male’ following Trump’s executive order.

I finally made a website ... it's not super fancy but I did my best, okay? www.feistywaters.com

Just putting bringing back TURF (The Toronto Urban Roots Festival) as a one day event with an all-Canadian line-up out there again since there's been a sad lack of summer music festivals in the GTA post-pandemic.

Gotta love all the "incels" who show their whole asses as being manbabies who have never woke up next to a woman.

I think it's funny that as soon as I blocked a former boss on LinkedIn, I stopped getting notification that a former employer was viewing my profile. I'm not sure how I feel about them possibly keeping tabs on me for years after I was laid off.

Dammit, there goes my dream of hunting feral hogs in Texas!

Saw the Rogers commercial with Keanu Reeves and since he's Canadian, I'm assuming people won't lose their shit like they did when John Krasinski did an ad for them. I still think it's hilarious that Lamorne Morris has been in BMO ads for years and no one batted an eye.

So, from what I can gather job hunting is a bit of an exercise in futility right now and I should just grin and bear it at my current position even though I really don't like it?

I'm listening to Tangiers, a Toronto garage rock band from the early 2000's, and they also played the showcase that I look back on with regret because I missed some VERY obvious signals.

I'm listening to Tame Impala and I thought I would share The Wiggles' fantastic cover of 'Elephant'. youtu.be/a13WnqsRc5g?...

Since she's a free-dumb convoy supporting anti-vaxxer and Canadian, I move that we start calling Evangeline Lily "BiWay Black Widow."

I think my biggest issue with S3 of Master of None isn't the focus on a new character and making it a drama. It's how boring it is!

March 13 cannot get here quickly enough! I will even make what may be a controversial statement and say that I think that WOT is better than Rings of Power! youtu.be/qk0D4OV95bQ?...

I'm enjoying Teacup but its limited budget shows. In the book it's based on, the alien is a full-on Xenomorph clone. They got around having to animate this by making the aliens incorporeal and they posses people.

The DOGE kids are what I picture the average member of an "incel" forum looking like. And you just know they have a Tinder or Bumble profile where they describe themselves as being, "A really nice guy who always seems to end up in the friend zone."

In another case of "separating the art from the artist", there are times I think of deleting The Stone Roses from my library after Ian Brown came out as an anti-vaxxer during the pandemic.
