When news costs, it creates an opening for brain-washers to operate via podcasts. These are advertisement-supported and are very persistent. Try listening to Jordan Peterson - a salad of interesting insights but with misogyny in there.

I pulled apart this kaput LED light bulb. As usual, it's the driver circuitry that has failed long before the LEDs themselves. When will see DC circuits in buildings to run these efficient lights? Electronics also? How much energy and resource is being wasted with individual DC drivers?
