Rewatch complete of this sequel that while doesn’t reach the heights of the original takes big swings. The opening is beyond intense and the helicopter scene is an all timer. Great cast with Renner standing out. Incredibly gory and another great score that elevates the film.

This is such a great point and isn’t made enough! We have a trans daughter but a mostly conservative extended family (and in-laws, to some degree), the exact people you’d expect would be awful on this issue. They have not been! I was prepared to do battle but we’ve been so happily surprised.

Diablo gives us some of the most intense martial arts action of the year along with great character moments. The face Zaror makes after getting punched is priceless. You can feel the trust Adkins and Zaror have with each punch and kick thrown. Two of the absolute best!!

Rewatch complete of Garland and Boyle’s terrifying tale of RAGE and the fight for survival. Great acting, amazing visuals and an amazing score that elevates the tension. The look of the film is as important as the movie itself and adds to the experience. An absolute masterpiece.

Rewatch complete if this underrated 90s action gem that lays tribute to Hard Boiled more than once. Thomas Ian Griffith not only starred but wrote the script and gives himself plenty of action which he excels at. Top tier supporting cast adds so much as does Chicago setting.

The martial arts movie event of the year is here and totally delivers. Adkins is great, Alana De La Rossa is a fantastic but Zaror totally steals the movie with a chilling performance. Slick direction, jaw dropping martial arts action, hard hitting stunts and a great synth score.
