I'm not the best at flower-arranging, but, hey, a bit of colour is always nice. 🌹🌷💐

Thank you to everyone for getting me to 1,000 followers on twitch!

48 hours to go, people! Only a few more backers and Josh and Josh will be forced to pay me to write a thing and I really want to! Who *doesn’t* need cool camps for their TTRPGs?

Three years (I think) since I sowed the seeds, I finally decided to send my ghost chillies on their merry way - to get more light into my kitchen, to make way for new plants, and because the effort of keeping them alive far outweighed the payoff (mind-bendingly hot though they were).

Forgetting it was half term (ugh...*children*), I booked myself into another double movie sitting. First was Captain America: Brave New World, which I went into with few expectations, and it was all right? Stuff exploded, a Hulk did the thunderclap move. What more do you need from Marvel movie?

Just two more days to get a magic weapon (well, a magic weapon postcard) in your mailbox! 📬 Make your pledge at patreon.com/ginnydi

A trip to the cinema today to see Love Hurts, and I enjoyed it. A comedy action caper about an estate agent whose past catches up to him on Valentine's Day. Daft popcorn fodder, in a good way. Mostly, I'm just happy about Ke Huy Quan's renaissance. He seems like a nice guy, and I'm glad for him.

If anyone has a TTRPG podcast that's going out in the next month, and they'd like to talk about Fallen London, pls let us know The Kickstarter starts tomorrow at 10am Eastern! www.kickstarter.com/projects/mag...

as a long time delicious friend...I say you should back this.

I’m seeing a lot of soft takes from industry mutuals at the moment that we shouldn’t be so hard on those who use generative AI because it’s becoming harder and harder to resist. Wrong. Betraying your ethics (and your peers) because ‘everyone else is doing it’ does not suddenly make it acceptable.

this haptic display absolutely rocks. basketball is for everyone.

Another trip to the cinema for a double feature today. First was Companion, where a couple take a trip to a remote lakeside cabin with their friends, only for things to go wrong when it turns out people aren't who they first appear. Dark humour helps to keep this sci-fi thriller clipping along.

It's our birthday today! 🎂 Of Dice and Them has been live for two slutty, slutty years

It's another month before my first market of the year, and I have a few things I'd like to restock - I've made a start with 500 of these notecards, should keep me going for a little while 😊

Another trip to the cinema to see The Big Heat, mostly to use a free birthday ticket and there was nothing else that piqued my interest. It was really good - it felt surprisingly brutal for a '50s movie, but punctuated by some excellent one-liners to offset that and stop it turning into a grimfest.

No new episode from us this month - consider us on hiatus as we rest and recover before season 3. So you're not too bereft without us, links to the start of seasons 1 & 2 can be found on our website. So, whether you're in the mood for D&D or Blades, we're never too far away. :) ofdiceandthem.com

classic Loony Tunes have much to teach us about class solidarity

Some days you just get Dance Magic stuck in your brain, so you have to watch Labyrinth for the million-billionth time to exorcise it. Also, I framed my Four Zero Fest. Looks pretty swish, no? You can hardly tell it got squashed in my bag!

Beside myself that the American plagiarism company is accusing the Chinese of... plagiariasm. Apparently stealing data to train AI is only theft when OTHER people do it techcrunch.com/2025/01/28/d...

Went to see Presence this afternoon (something, something, birthday presence, something something), and it was less the "horror from the point of view of the ghost" I was expecting, more of a slow-burn supernatural thriller (from the point of view of a ghost).

#SaveThePCC Some of you may have read about the situation regarding our new landlord wishing to add a new redevelopment break clause, with only 6 months notice to our lease. For now, we're simply asking you all to share & sign the petition below; you.38degrees.org.uk/p/princechar...

Walking into the thrift store and immediately having my MK Ultra programming activated by this dresser

I was driving around earlier and I spotted a new Blockbuster. I had to go in there. The building was filled with unmarked video tapes covered with bioluminescent mold. On the TV screens, there was a home video of me telling me to get out of the store. I really missed this place.

Call me a son of anarchy, ‘cause I’m patched, mate. Natural Six merch coming soon!

COMPETITION TIME! 🤖 Oscar-nominee #TheWildRobot is out now on 4K – and we have a handful of copies to give away, alongside a hardback copy of Peter Brown's book. To enter: RT, follow Empire, and reply with a GIF of your favourite big-screen robot. [UK entrants only, must be 18+]

This is a very specific intersection of my interests and it's comedy fucking gold.

Took myself off to see Sonic The Hedgehog 3, and it's fine for what it is. Generally clips along, and things go kablooey. I appreciate they ticked the "Shadow with a motorbike and a gun" box early, and doubly so the fact the human sidekicks didn't have a whole wacky B plot to themselves.

In 1993, David Hasselhoff released a Pingu-themed rap song. It used samples of Penguinese (Pingu’s language) and was only available in Switzerland.
