One of the worst things about letting go of friendships with people, especially if they shared your interests, is that you get occasional urges to share cool things you find with them and then have a moment of intense grief when you realize you can't.

Saw another trans woman on reddit today, proud of the fact that even as vice-chair of a chapter of the Bavarian CSU she passed and was referred to by the right pronouns. She got upset when people called her out. How one can lay in mud and be unaware of why they're dirty, I'll never know.
