sometimes it hits me all at once how insanely cruel bans on puberty blockers for trans kids are. it was already a compromise and now you’re just forcing trans kids, who know full well who they are, to undergo a process of literal body horror. fvck you forever if you support this.

Conversion therapy is based on the hateful idea that being part of the LGBTQ+ community is an illness that requires treatment.  It’s a dangerous sham practice that has been completely debunked and should be banned nationwide—I introduced a bill with @booker.senate.gov to do just that.

I get told “give Labour a chance!” “Where did you expect them to get us, in ten months?” If someone is driving in the wrong direction, you point it out before they reach their destination. They have poor plans for the NHS, and are increasing privatisation. I’m not waiting 5 years to talk about it🚨
