Today in @propaintedstudios.bsky.social delivery day, a nice custom tray for my 3" measures, and some unpictured treats for the Famous Last Nerds, who I'm not seeing for a while... good timetabling, me!

The dice collection grew enough to knock out the filler and the Munchkin die this weekend, with two new additions, including the dank visage of Mr @troggmeta.bsky.social himself. Odds are it's not growing until I'm in the new house, but it'll at least have a nice shelf to live on then!

Went to see the new Captain America in an actual cinema. Film is well worth seeing - the MCU seems to have learned some lessons on their releases since 2020, and have addressed them. I still don't like cinemas since 2020 though.

This afternoon, we commemorate @troggmeta.bsky.social running over and chewing up Tadpole with an insufficient number of Troggs. The lesson is: wear your Famous Last Nerds badge if you want a 2-3 - worked for me! 😜

So despite running Gluttons and Ironguts myself, I barely scraped a win against an army full of Gluttons and Ironguts. I'm a good Ogre player!!!

First Ogre mirror match of the weekend, first Famous Last Nerds matchup, and apparently Tom's pointing out tricks in my own list I'd completely missed! I thought that prayer was BCP keyworded!

I haven't played DoK yet this edition. It shows.

Game 2 into Ryan went much better, mainly because he suffered the overextension problem I had last game. Kragnos had lots of fun running into giants!

Game 1 into @baznormanjnr.bsky.social went about as well as you'd expect. Might have gone better if my Turn 1 YOLO charge had worked, but I apparently spent those beans at Tracksuit...

But *why* does the AirBnb have a large statue of a gnome?

I've finally decided that doing six trips across a hall carrying individual units isn't good tournament etiquette, so have made the grand expense of £6 for a pair of baking trays!

In an extremely productive evening, I've taken about 2 hours of BSky/BCP stalking to add one person to the Sheffield Slaughter starter pack, and find two people that are probably going but I can't quite confirm. Much more useful than painting models, packing to move house, or finding a new job!

Right, time to get a key piece of shit together ahead of Sheffield Slaughter. What do people use for a magnetic carrying tray to cart their armies between tables at tournaments?

Going to give this one last shameless spamming, in case you missed it the last three times. Go on! Sheffield's a right laugh! It's 50% Warrior Lodge guys and suchlike, so odds are you'll be mercilessly thrashed! You have to pay more than £60 for a weekend of that in _some_ badly-lit basements!

Slaughter-goers; anyone travelling from the Salisbury / South-east area for Slaughter weekend? We have a player looking for transport options. If you are driving up from that way and have space for a passenger please message us directly. Thank you!

While I'm on a Sonic The Hedgehog kick that won't at all resonate with my primarily AoS-following peers... wouldn't the final boss music from Sonic 2 be an extraordinary arrangement for a marching band?

Ladies and gentlemen, we have collected the seven Chaos Emeralds of Legal Paperwork Bullshit, and once we've collected the 50 rings of Confirming Our Seller Is Out Of Probate... WE GOING SUPER SONIC, BABY. ...I just watched Sonic 2, so there's some shaping to my Get Hyped headspace.

Don't you love the "shit, I forgot to get her something" tax? 🤣

All of 2025’s Pub based, AoS shenanigans are now available on Eventbrite. 7 RTT’s and 2 Opens… sign up now! RT’s appreciated 😀 www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/pubhammer-...

Reposting for the one-day-later crowd. Sheffield is a pretty good crowd, so it's worth your £60.

One of the Famous Last Nerds has had to drop from Sheffield Slaughter, so if you're in need of a ticket, I might be able to hook you up. Unless Team Sheffield has already sorted it, naturally.

I love the smell of fresh dice for the dice box. Two are being immediately set aside for Guy himself, next time we see The DSM IV, which means I need to trade out three at Sheffield Slaughter so they line up right...

Today in Warhammer Home Ec: if you have a set of shitty plastic objective markers, cut one into quarters with a fabric cutting roller, so you have Turn 1 objective markers for The Vice, that'll also fit the inset tables at Bad Moon Cafe!

I don't talk work on this platform, because for the most part, it's just money. But it's the first time I've been on a late-night release for a while, with my big project that changes precisely nothing for the end user. Great success!

Good afternoon, Slaughter-goers! Reminder that BCP is open for sign-up: t.co/2uUMCGTmLC ...And in the tradition of Slaughter; so too are Grudge Matches! Some Grudges have already been submitted. To add yours, please contact by email: [email protected]
