Today in things I definitely wasn’t expecting in mid-Nov: a brave little Bearded Iris trying to bloom. Forecast says impossible. Not even sure if I put right tag on this. I’m really curious about the goals of this (non-stipendiary) Fellowship, which seems to want a midcareer-to-senior person (in terms of experience) to donate an unspecified portion of their time for 3 years in exchange for a fair bit of cultural capital/contacts & a modest amount of project funding.
