Watching "Lost" for the first time, and my initial impressions is that it's basically a gritty reboot of "Gilligan's Island".

This article in the @theonion.com is a fairly accurate description of my first attempt to play Wyrmspan..... theonion.com/exhausted-fr...

Testing the DJI RS 4 Mini with a smartphone, as well as testing the subject tracking capabilities of the gimbal: youtu.be/F2G5edfFmwg

It's weird how if you look up the lifespan of a numer of tree species, how inaccurate the information tends to be. Alder, cottonwood, and big leaf maple are all supposedly very short-lived, but I know of very elderly examples of such trees that are still in great health!

A truly ridiculous dog.

Lynx prints!!! Heard it too.

A brief but spectacular February #sunrise, complete with a joyful dawn chorus of birdsong. #wawx

"The wonderful story of Henry Sugar" is certainly a wonderful film, and possibly the most Wes Anderson thing Wes Anderson has ever made.

For some reason, heavy metal helps me focus on tasks like nothing else. I find it oddly relaxing, and it helps eliminate distracting thoughts. In particular, I've found thst the music of Australian metalcore band Polaris seems to be most effective for this purpose.

More rain on the way! #wawx

"Mort(E)" is a nearly perfect Sci-Fi story with its unique ant-based apocalyptic setting and cast of murderous mutant humanoid animals. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the sequels (with the exception of the novella "Culdesac"). Best to skip the sequels and view "Mort(E)" as a standalone novel.

A wonderful fresh, blustery morning with cool mist spattering here and there. The ravens were clearly enjoying the weather too! #wawx

A very silly dog.

Brief spotlight of sun illuminates the landscape beneath a brooding sky.

Last sight of the sun before the evening clouds rolled in. #wawx

Democracy dies in servility

Washington and other blue states need to ban "X" and the sale of Teslas. #waleg

This is a really dumb move by ODFW. The result will be fewer permit sales, since a lot of people don't think to purchase permits ahead of time for places like this, & will either not visit or go anyway & risk a ticket if there's nowhere nearby to purchase a permit. www.oregonlive.com/news/2025/02...

A dreary evening indeed, though also rather pleasant in its way. #wawx

Yesterday evening by the river before the rain rolled in. #wawx

Snow in the lowlands of Western Washington always means a slushy, muddy hangover is soon to follow. #wawx

Drizzle and thickening fog as the snow turns to slush and mud. Kinda miserable out there, and I think the peahens agree! #wawx

Cold grey morning, still a lot of snow hanging around. #wawx

Highly recommend "Grosse Pointe Blank" - hilarious with some great acting!

The snow really brings out the contrast and colours in the marshlands and forests. #LandscapePhotography

Scuppers and Toby certainly made the most of the snow today!
