It's #SkySunday! As a frequent rider on Amtrak, I see many wonderful things. This sunset in Gallup, New Mexico last night was stunning.

My career for 39 years. Still just as important today. #Protectmypublicmedia

It's #SkySunday! Another view of the fabulous sunset on Friday.

OMG! A really awful day ends with a beautiful sunset.

It's #WaterWednesday! Biotope de Guizette on the border of Belgium and The Netherlands. My friend sent me this picture in 2013. I love how different the buildings are, compared to the US. Note the two geese by the water.

It's evening and #TravelTuesday! We had a reason to get onto Fort Hunter Liggett in 2005. We stayed at the Hearst Hacienda Lodge (built by architect Julia Morgan). It is beautiful, inexpensive, but no frills, due to it being on an Army Base. Well worth the visit.

A morning rainbow. 🌈 #SkySunday brings an unusual early morning rainbow. Unusual, because I am not up at that hour, as a general rule. The clouds add to the picture. Photo taken in 2015.

It's #WaterWednesday! The Oswego River passing under a beautiful bridge, in Minetto, New York. Photo was taken in 2013. I love how the city decorated the pocket park, by the bridge. You could not ask for better.

It's #TravelTuesday! Fishers Peak in Colorado has been used as a direction marker for the Santa Fe Trail, for hundreds of years. In your head, you can hear the wagon trains, as you pass it. Photo taken in 2021.

#SNL50 tonight was excellent. I watch the show, and recognized almost all the routines. My favorite was John Mulaney showing the decades of NYC, during the time of SNL. As one who left home in the late 70's, the Daily News line still hits hard. Ford to NYC: Drop Dead. Thanks SNL for 50 years.

Late on a #SkySunday. North Hollywood Metro Station 2019. The bus turn around, and ominous clouds up above.

It's #TravelTuesday! The Mississippi River in New Orleans. The bridge is I-90, off in the distance. You can go into the mall right there, and get beignets at Cafe du Monde. Yum! Photo taken in 2015.

It's #SkySunday! This photo was taken in February of 2019, south of Downtown Los Angeles. The back end of a rain storm. We have more coming later this week.

It's #WaterWednesday! This early morning photo was taken from our cruise ship, which was anchored by Lahaina, Maui in 2020. The island of Lanai is off in the distance. 2 tenders are getting ready to shuttle passengers from the cruise ship to the shore.

It's #TravelTuesday! Off to Honolulu, where we cruised in February of 2020. This evening photo was taken upon our return to the island, due to a medical emergency on ship. The city was stunning, at night, and worth the detour.

It's #SkySunday A rainy day at the Getty, looking towards Pacific Palisades. Photo taken 2011.

Cacti at the Getty (2011).🌵

It's #TravelTuesday! The year is 1998, and this is the bridge over the Mississippi River at Alton, Illinois. We watched a Nova episode about the building of it, and I promised my son we would visit it someday. It was worth the detour, (10 miles north of St. Louis), to view.

It's a sad day.

It's #SkySunday! Thankful today that this view still exists. The Hughes fire came close to 6 Flags Magic Mountain last week. Photo taken 2019.

#HughesFire earlier this morning.

It's #TravelTuesday! Up we go to Canada this week. Montreal, to be exact. Notre-Dame Basilica is a wonderful place to spend a few moments on your vacation. I have been there twice, and highly recommend it.

A lovely sunset on #SkySunday. I love the cotton balls at the top. Photo taken in 2014

On #WaterWednesday, I bring you to the Mohawk River in Upstate New York. It contains the Erie Canal, at this point, in the little town of Canajoharie. You can see a canal lock 14 up on the left side, with a white building by it. FYI: Canajoharie is Mohawk for "The Pot that Washes Itself". Photo 2012

It's #TravelTuesday! In honor of my Father, who was a Navy Seaman, I bring you a statue in Washington, DC. Just an average Joe, with his seabag. It happened to be Memorial Day weekend, so that is why there were flowers in front of it. Photo taken 2011.

It's #SkySunday! We have had incredible wildfires in Los Angeles. In honor of better times, here is a photo taken off the 210 Freeway in arcadia, where the Gold Line/A line) crosses the freeway. Note the Native Basket artwork on the far right side of the overpass, and a cool sky above.

On #TravelTuesday, I bring you to Louisiana. Sugar cane growing in a field, is a sight you see all over this area of the state. These are still small, but lovely to view.

I got my #RoscaDeReyes from Vallerta today. Ready for the three kings to arrive.

It's #SkySunday! The sunset on Saturday evening was spectacular. Glad I made the effort to capture it. Santa Clarita 2025.

It's #WaterWednesday! This photo was taken at the Waterford flight of five, at the beginning of the Erie Canal. The United States showed its power, by creating a waterway, where there was none. Photo taken early this Century.

#HappyNewYear 2025!

It's #TravelTuesday! This is trackside at Portland Amtrak Station. It is right next to the river, so there are 2 bridges off in the distance. If you ever take the Empire Builder, I recommend leaving from Portland. A great city.

#SkySunday is coming. This was the sunset on 12/28/21. Last night's sunset was similar. (It must be the time of year).

#Christmukkah at the angel house. Enjoy the season.

It's Christmas Eve, and in my family, that means fish. Only 4 fishes tonight, instead of 7, but it was delicious. #Feastofthesevenfishes

A White House Christmas card from 1996. I was given it, by someone who worked for the City of Los Angeles. This is the Green Room, all decorated. I occasionally put it up as a decoration, to this day.
