So it begins. Printed, folded and pressed the fanfic Fire Lily by @problematicphd.bsky.social Took me just about one year to fiddle with the typeset 😅 In the end I opted for a stencil font for the title and very little extras. Simple and classic, with a touch of the rebellious. 805 pages long 😳

If TikTok gets banned in the US it reminds me of Vine. Where the algorithm and the format just didn't work on any other platforms. Vine-creators flooded YouTube back then. Some were able to adapt and carce their niche, but the majority of HUGE creators on Vine just disappeared. (1/2) #tiktokban

Romantasy has existed for longer. The label is new. It is romance in a fantasy setting. Mixing romance tropes with fantasy tropes. I'd consider my all time favorite manga "Fushigi Yuugi" (from 1992) a romantasy. Very heavy on romance but also action packed fantasy. youtu.be/Xrz0e9BGaJs
