I've been a denizen of Tumblr, tried the 'others' and mostly failed due to 'standards' and outright censorship. Not trying to make a living, just like making art with likeminded folks...it's photography, sculpture, structure, design, hopefully some laughs!

Why is my ‘discover’ full of gym dudes doing selfies in the gym bathroom? Dude wait till you are home, it’s creepy taking ‘brophies’ in a public bathroom. Aren’t y’all usually the ones barking about folks (women, always women) ‘filming’ themselves working out?

Bodyscape in Monochrome with @riannnova.bsky.social from our last shoot earlier this year. Sadly this will be one of the few shoots I do this year as my flexible spending for art photography has given way to car and mortgage payments... Always a pleasure to work with Riann and always a welcome here

Aquatic Surrealism with @vexvoir.bsky.social , shot in Houston in 2016, both shot with a GoPro camera and transposed to B&W. Note Vex's face is reflected in both the mirrors. My first 'pool shoot'

Open Windows and Curtains Drawn with @vexvoir.bsky.social from 2016 first image is with a disposable camera and that lovely film grain, second two are with my iPhone (always a good backup) from an impromptu shoot in Dallas and our first shoot.

Two Sides of Tiffany with Tiffany Helms (not on @bsky, retired?) from our first shoots together (2015), we had shot the first set basically at dawn because she had to leave early, she then missed her bus (glamorous touring model life) so then we had the afternoon to shoot in wildflowers!

Everything is Reflected with @anoushanou.bsky.social from 2016, shot in the 'light room' of my moms house in Austin. Anoush brings a lovely combination of relaxed poise, exquisite focus, and an indefinable intimacy thats more about our humanity with each other. Retrieved from my Tumblr posts...

Channeled Light with @anoushanou.bsky.social from one of my first shoots in 2015 both were shot on digital but with a Lensbaby lens that gives the soft film like glow to them. Anoush and I have been shooting together for 10 years and has become a friend and welcomed guest in my home.

In the Mossy Glade with Freya Gallows (not on @bsky, retired?) Freya is truly a force of nature, both wild woman and I think probably the single smartest human I know, currently on her dream adventure in quantum computer applications, she's also a martial arts fighter and Burning Man crew alumni

Ether with @camdamage.bsky.social from 2015, black and white expired film shot with a 1960's Mamiya camera. Cam was my first ever nude art model and Cam was great! Encouraging, funny, and up for all my weird awkward requests and ideas... I can always say Cam was my first! Retrieved from my Tumblr

Feral Moments with @camdamage.bsky.social, form 2015. We shot with film and two different digital cameras, and the first image features a deer pelvis I had made into a mask I used for performances. Second is using a Sony Mavica with a sepia tone effect. Bothe images retrieved from my Tumblr account

ALT before ALT with @camdamage.bsky.social from my very first nude model shoot in 2015. I was shooting film, digital, and had this Sony Maniac that had a 'solarize' effect setting which was great for band photography. the first and third images are with the Sony, 2 and 4 are with my Nikon digital.

Engage and Connect with Nova Amour (not on @bsky, retired?) this was her first shoot with me in 2016 and beyond her obvious beauty this was one of those times I was just thunderstruck by her engaged eye contact, to the point of distraction at times. She was amazing to work with and was happy posing

The Siren of Red Bud Isle with @vexvoir.bsky.social shot in Austin in 2016 the second stop on our time together.Vex was so stunning posing amongst the cypress roots of the isle, still a favorite set of images. Her grace and athleticism always made for great shoots and I miss our collaborations

Three Views of the Same Couch with @vexvoir.bsky.social from the Dallas shoot in 2016. I had not planned to shoot as I was there on a work trip and didn't bring my equipment, so I bought 4 disposable cameras and used my iPhone...I'd repeat this improv much later after a rouge wave ate three cameras!

Waiting in the Warm Sunlight with @vexvoir.bsky.social from our very first shoot in 2016. This was very impromptu as I was in Dallas for work and she was traveling through on tour, we would shoot a total of three times, in Dallas, Austin, and Houston within that month. Shot on film and my iPhone.

Today We Travel by Light with KyotoCat (not on @bsky yet) from 2015 and our first shoot. Shot in my glass block walled shower, I just love how the light dances on her skin. A true creative and one of my favorite humans for all the reasons.

Wrapped Around You with KyotoCat (not on @bsky yet), she was posing and I pulled back just enough for the ring light to act as a frame for her. One of my earliest shoots from 2015, she has been a recurring and favorite artist to shoot with, she just embodies what I want in a creative partner.

Golden Hour with Monique Poses, retired (not on @bsky) we were playing around with gold leaf and she grabbed the book (how its stored) and went into the bathroom and started applying it to her body, hands, lips, and face. I love her far away look and the light catching off the gold. From my Tumblr.

First Light with Monique Poses (not on @bsky) retired, from 2016 or 2017 Mona was a full on traveling model living and working out of a converted truck with a camper top, way before the 'van life' thing was a thing. She's stunning and adventurous and never shies away from a strong opinion.

Dreamin' is Easy with Dawn 'Coconut Dreamin', from 2016 shot on 35 mm film in a medium format camera to get the 'sprocket rocket' effect...the full film is exposed and then scanned. This was also a double exposure, shot with a Holga toy camera in my old house

I'm Not Your Lolita... with Dawn 'Coconut Dreamin' (not on @bsky...yet) we had shot a whole series outside this day and this was some of the initial images before we got into a MESSY pumpkin slaughter. But she had these sunnies that reminded me of the original Lolita film...her response and look.

In the Abyss of Dreams with Dawn 'Coconut Dreamin' (not on @bsky...yet). This was know as the 'comfy couch', cousin to Monty Python's Comfy Chair and was an oft used set piece in my old douse due to its textures coloring and comfort. Dawn was the second model I ever shot with (2015!)

In the Quiet Moments with @livsage.bsky.social from our first shoot together in 2015, film scans from a antique 35mm camera. Always one of my favorite humans to work with, miss those days.

Light Becoming Form with @livsage.bsky.social from our second shoot together all the way back in 2016...retreived from my Tumblr page as these images were lost to a corrupted hard drive. Still a favorite for all the reasons.

The lovely Holly (not on @bsky yet…) shot in an amazing church themed home in Mexico

More from the AMP Wet Series with @anoushanou.bsky.social who is a great friend and collaborator and frequent guest when she travels through Texas

From the AMP Wet setup three images with @jessaraymuse.bsky.social who is a regular collaborator over the past few years
