That fiendish website Crunchyroll doesn't allow for German audio with English subtitles or English audio with German subtitles or German audio with German subtitles. So to practice German the next best thing is: Japanese audio with German subtitles. Oh my.

I haven't given up at German yet! A flashcard I didn't know: "Eine Person kann in _____ Einzelzimmer schlafen.", where I couldn't figure out the indefinite article. Got to remember: 1. it's dative case (the room ain't being slept) 2. the table for which articles go with which case/genders lol.

German class starts on Wednesday. What I have pre-learned so far: * German has grammar and this makes me sad * German has gender and, again, I am sad * "der" is both masculine nominative case AND feminine dative case :( * The more I practice German the more nouns I accidentally capitalize in English

So my work transfer to Zürich will probably get approved soon which is terrifying but by this point I'm committed. Good progress towards getting my house into a sellable state (some stuff given away, weeds removed from backyard). My passport only has a couple years left, I might try and renew it.

I have become weirdly attached to my Honda Civic. I'll have to sell it if I do immigrate anywhere besides Canada (and whoever gets it better respect it!) 2012 model with 53k miles. I installed a dashcam and backup cam, and it can play MP3 CDs so it's perfect.
