Just played 'Listen To Simon' by Bumtum and it's a really cool little horror game, very simple gameplay combined with an incredibly unsettling atmosphere. Definitely worth giving a go. bumtum.itch.io/listen-to-si...

Finally got around to checking out Chapter 0 of Pools and WOW! This was already one of my favourite games of all time but @tensori.fi somehow made it even better. Wonderful liminal weirdness, plenty of NOPE moments and the one thing I really wanted from the first 6 chapters... UNDERWATER SECTIONS!!!

So the game Cold Abyss by Studio [.notes], which I previously discussed as one of three horror games that terrified me, is getting an expanded release on Steam. And yes I have requested access to the playtest because apparently I'm that much of a masochist. store.steampowered.com/app/3260040/...

Hey peeps 😁 I'm not dead, just been busy the past couple of months. Not long returned from a brilliant holiday in Japan to visit family and I had a lot to do in preparation for that. Hoping to catch up on stuff I've missed here and seeing what you've all been up to.

Just got my first ending in the amazing game DEAD LETTER DEPT. by BeliefEngine ... I am conflicted between wanting to immediately replay it to find other endings because of how satisfying the gameplay is and never wanting to go anywhere near this hell ever again.

Continuing my current gaming kick with the brilliant visual novel RoboCult by biinxiix! This game where you wake up in a strange world with a robot claiming to be your saviour is so much fun to play through, I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good story. biinxiix.itch.io/robocult

Just played this demo and I love it! The short prologue already has given enough story details to get me hooked, while both Rue and Parker are brilliant characters (Parker especially is a riot). I definitely recommend giving it a go, can't wait for the full game to come out 😁

So to my utter shame I've discovered that one of @arcadekitten.bsky.social's games completely flew under my radar. That has been quickly remedied and I can now say that Once Clover Died is one of the most emotionally impactful games I've ever played. arcadekitten.itch.io/once-clover-...

My favourite game dev @arcadekitten.bsky.social has knocked it out of the park again with her newest little game One Girl's Trash. This game is cute and fun and has nothing horrifying in it! No I'm not being sarcastic, there's genuinely nothing horrifying here. arcadekitten.itch.io/one-girls-tr...

STOP... and drop a horror movie gif/image/vid

Nothing kills your writing/editing mood like having to spend nearly half an hour trying to figure out how to turn off stupid AI on your word document because clearly having the service provide an on/off button would be too convenient. Thanks Microsoft
