“i think you’ve overestimated your contributions, and underestimated your blessings” is a banger of a line to use on techbros

So I guess 2025 is the year of the road trip huh

Doctor help I need my “head empty no thoughts” medicine stat!

It looks like for dinner I have to eat crow after being completely wrong about something. Hoping crow settles alright in my stomach 🤞

(Shania) Man! I feel like a goblin

Not to brag but I’ve thought Musk was a eugenicist piece of shit for years. And every day he just proves me more and more right to everyone who didn’t listen man

If you work in ANY space and have ever tried to make a data visual accessible, you've likely used Chartability. Help the Chartability team by sharing projects that have been influenced by their work! Please share this as far and wide as possible

I will go too. I will stand with my fellow humans and protect our rights and freedom against this regime. My heart is so much fuller knowing that there are people saying this now.

What if we all just like agreed to destroy this regime. As a treat

I will be continuing to publicly advocate for accessibility regardless of the risks I feel there are in doing so now. I think all of us have to assess our risk and make some tough decisions about what we can take on. That’s the reality of living in the U.S.

This regime hates me and is attacking me because of my very existence no matter what I do. So why would I hold back at all at this point ya know?

hey @mattyglesias.bsky.social, the piece that you link to here — my piece — does not say that “all DEI critics want to reimpose segregation” and i would appreciate it if you didn’t lie to your audience about what my work says.

What if we held hands and kissed at the Tesla store protest www.mobilize.us/indivisible/...

I keep forgetting I just moved to Seattle in November, the election happened, I had surgery, and I’m selling a condo. So yeah I guess it makes sense that I got too sick/exhausted this week.

🦊 Friday was my last day working at 18F. It was a team of extraordinary people, but a few things happened that made me realize I had to leave. Everything happens so much these days, so I thought I’d write down for myself what happened, and how I made my decision: ethanmarcotte.com/wrote/leavin...

I’ve been consistently disappointed by our politicians complete lack of understanding or willingness to learn about tech. Hell if a group of people in tech came together to do this I would join and help.

I have feelings about AI & the web & my experience being trans "in tech" in 2025 - so I screamed some thoughts onto my personal web log. I hope for all of us a more queer & humane future. Keep building communities & dreaming better paths. https://www.miriamsuzanne.com/2025/02/12/tech-ai-wtf/

I always struggle to recognize people when they change their profile pictures. Anyways I change my profile picture. The hair is still blue and I’m still chronically online don’t worry

I don’t wanna tell the rest of the world to stop being pissed at America right now. I do however want to just say many of us did not choose this and are doing everything we can to stand against/withstand it. You have a common enemy with many of us in this administration.

My hell is waiting in a line I can’t leave having to listen to people make conversation in the line about things that no one wants to hear.

“They can’t do that, (far right extremist) also has (disability/neurodivergence).” I don’t know how to articulate this well so I’ll put it bluntly. Eugenicists will apply disability on anyone they wish as a method to devalue their life.

every successful consumer technology owes its success to a dedicated user base of insane perverts who the product managers in silicon valley view as their ancient and intractable enemy

What a week huh

so far going anti-woke leads to less money and planes falling out of the sky
