I'm enjoying CBS' Watson so far. There's room for improvement, but it has potential. (It's still better than House lol.) I'm behind, of course (when am I not?) Anyway, thoughts on the first two eps:

A little earlier than normal: my review of last week's #ThePitt ." In short: a masterpiece. Santos is still The Worst, though. www.bekindhitrewind.com/posts/the-pi...

As someone whose Mama grew up in Appalachia and shared those cultural traditions and food, "Sunrise on the Reaping" does a better job representing the region than anything J.D. Vance ever wrote. lmao.

And now I'm all caught up with #ThePitt. Fortunately, episode 11 was a return to form. www.bekindhitrewind.com/posts/the-pi...

I have been enjoying #ThePitt a lot, but I was pretty super annoyed by the 4:00 P.M. hour, so I am behind on my reviews of it. Anyway, this is my review for the 4 P.M. hour. I will warn: it is harsh, because this hour was, imo, subpar. www.bekindhitrewind.com/posts/the-pi...

The drug shit on #ThePItt is throwing me all the way out of the plot lmao. Everything else is so realistic, but this is such a Grey's Anatomy plot. Yes, healthcare workers have substance abuse issues. No, this is NOT how it is handled. Christ. This is poor writing. It's *Grey's* writing.

Let my dog out to go to the potty, called and called for him to come back, and he didn't. Went to go look for him, and what was he doing? Standing by the fence, nose in the air, just smelling the air. that's all. There are some intelligent labradors, then there is mine.

i truly get one task done then scroll for a lil treat 😌

4 of my favorite female characters in honor of international women's day 💗

What really bothers me about the character of Santos ion #ThePItt is that she doesn't fit the rest of the show's vibe. The rest of the show is a realistic medical drama. It's smart and well-written. Santos is a ridiculous character that would better fit on Grey's Anatomy.

Me out here tryig to use #ThePitt as an excuse to get people into watching ER.

Why do people give Mark Greene so much credit, re: Carter's intervention? That was ALL Peter Benton. Mark was as useless in that episode being a leader and a mentor as he was the rest of the show. It was Peter who got through to him. Peter who cared. Peter who showed it.

100000%

Anyway #ThePitt will never make me like Trinity Santos. And I hope they write the drug arc better than they have so far. ER did a great job with Carter's arc, but so far this arc has sucked ass and is the only low spot in an otherwise very well written show. Fuck Trinity, though.

If Noah Wyle doesn't win 36 Emmys, 22 Oscars, 15 Tonys, 9 Grammys, and the U.S. Heavyweight Championship Boxing title for #ThePitt, then I just don't know what the purpose of awards are.

In better news, today is #ThePitt day! Can't watit to see Noah Wyle's cute face and get traumatized in some fresh new way!

Doc put me on Vyvanse, so I am trying to cut out the caffeine, because stimulant mixing is bad. But oh my god, this headache is a BITCH, and I feel like I am dying. so I am in fact having caffeine today. I would rather have a heart attack and DIE, than deal with this headache.

Matteo *IS* a human Utah That man is FINE lol #ThePitt

I love how the clearly autistic coded resident is the one with the most empathy (since people think we don't have empathy) #thepitt

This video is equivalent to 🤌 Anti-vaxxer & anti-masker being dunked on by doctor. #ThePitt S1:E9

Took dog to vet today. Was time for updated shots before vaca in a couple of weeks. he was very good, but he gave a WHIMPER when he got his rabies vaccine. A WHIMPER. sO IN CONCLUSION, I am the worst dog mom ever.

Goddamn, I have not hated a character the way I hate Santos since I cannot remember when. I truly wish the helicopter that killed romano had lived and could take a flight from Chicago to take this character out. Team Langdon. #thepitt

There's nothing more annoying than men watching #thepitt and going "but why is she continuing to work while she's having a miscarriage?" And then you explain it to them, and they're like, "but she's bleeding. She'd be able to take time off." Okay. Let me tell you how the real world works

I don't think enough people are celebrating the absolute W that #ThePitt gave us on black history month by showcasing the story of the Freedom House Ambulance www.vulture.com/article/what...

Ugh. There are enough bad things going on in the world. REAL bad things. We don't need people getting on social media and lying, telling people that poor folks aren't getting their tax returns. Yes they are! Go to reddit and see for yourselves. God. Quit fearmongering.

OK. Seriously. I am going to need at least five more seasons of #ThePitt. Dr. Carter is all grown up. The entire cast is amazing. And it has ALL the feels.

Really didn't expect to like #ThePitt as much as I do. So refreshing to have a medical drama that's 95% focused on medicine, realism, & competency unlike Grey's 95% focus on romance/sex, or Chicago Med's constant malpractice, soapy melodrama. No Nick Halstead/Natalie shenanigans here.

Cried several times while watching #ThePitt tonight 😭 hearing “I made her a card” just broke me completely 🧸🥺

#ThePitt star Noah Wyle, producer John Wells, and creator R. Scott Gemill talk to Rolling Stone about that drama-filled eighth episode and how they've made a show that reflects what ERs are really like today.
