The drug shit on #ThePItt is throwing me all the way out of the plot lmao. Everything else is so realistic, but this is such a Grey's Anatomy plot. Yes, healthcare workers have substance abuse issues. No, this is NOT how it is handled. Christ. This is poor writing. It's Grey's writing.

What really bothers me about the character of Santos ion #ThePItt is that she doesn't fit the rest of the show's vibe. The rest of the show is a realistic medical drama. It's smart and well-written. Santos is a ridiculous character that would better fit on Grey's Anatomy.

Why do people give Mark Greene so much credit, re: Carter's intervention? That was ALL Peter Benton. Mark was as useless in that episode being a leader and a mentor as he was the rest of the show. It was Peter who got through to him. Peter who cared. Peter who showed it.

Really didn't expect to like #ThePitt as much as I do. So refreshing to have a medical drama that's 95% focused on medicine, realism, & competency unlike Grey's 95% focus on romance/sex, or Chicago Med's constant malpractice, soapy melodrama. No Nick Halstead/Natalie shenanigans here.
