I didn't know that "art" and "enjoying" it required active participation and thought. I thought that art was a product for consumption because of some sort of nebulous "aesthetic merit". Feeling blunt and mean, so: A lot of cis women feel that trans women have no epistemic authority on the topic of misogyny. They can be nice to us, but if we assert ourselves on the topic, their transmisogyny tends to flare up. Which is a shame. They haven't seen men's misogyny like we have.
