Bore da. On arriving before Christmas, Mum, who lives in Wales, made a speech about Welsh being a dead language that shouldn't be taught in schools. Alice and I have spent the last 2 weeks competitively learning Welsh just to annoy her.

While eyes are diverted to Syria, the decimation of Gaza continues. There were horrendous attacks on civilians yesterday. Whole families wiped out. Our Al Ahli Hospital is overwhelmed with the injured and dying and barely able to cope. Just don’t know what we can do.
