Thank you to the nurses who made my mum's birthday a little brighter. She's in hospital and they all sang "happy birthday" to her and decorated her bed. Small acts of kindness mean so much. ❤️

@rthonwesstreeting.bsky.social please help the nhs & support services. Needed an ambulance for my 80yo mum tonight. Told there was up to a 10 hour wait for an ambulance. Thankfully only 5 hour wait! But that's still too long for a scared, really ill elderly person who's feeling beyond vulnerable.

To anyone who has elderly relatives/mobility issues, can I recommend a rechargeable hot water bottle. Safer, no trying to fill bottles with hot water from a kettle, wrestling with stoppers, etc. They stay warm much longer then a wheatbag too. Worthwhile during the cold weather.
