Today, I found out that the Department of Defense banned the Well-Read Black Girl anthology by Glory Edim. I was one of its contributors. I'm really hurt right now. So if you have it in you, please buy books by Black women from independent bookstores.

Small things, baby steps. Made sure me and mine are fully up to date on vaccines and medical exams. Started socking away every penny possible. Stopped shopping at big box (except Costco)and Amazon. Shed subscriptions like crazy. No cable news, no WaPo, no NYT. Protest. Don’t buy, don’t subscribe.
