I love this event! No matter the outcome, it’s a great experience. Mostly though, I love the supportive community of writers. Thanks to all the judges, agents and editors who participate. And good luck to all who entered! #PBParty

"This struggle often comes from fear—fear of being judged, fear of failing, or fear of not creating something that will blow readers away. Perfectionism can turn that goal into an impossible standard, slowing progress and hurting confidence." www.writersdigest.com/be-inspired/...

Yay! I finally finished the first draft of a nonfiction pb that drove me bonkers! It’s the second in a series (I’m querying the first) and needs work, but it’s written! Now on to the revisions! 🙃😁

Happy birthday, Judy Blume!

The act of wondering is a writer’s best asset! It’s how we cultivate and expand ideas and bring our unique perspective to a story. It’s what separates us from the algorithm. It’s how the magic happens.
