When terrible things happen it can be easy to believe the world is terrible; it's important to remember that there is far more good than evil. While there are a small number of people who commit horrific acts, there are literally millions of people who will save people from them.

pleased to have signed this letter to the Deputy Prime Minister calling on her to change her stance on cancelling local elections secure.unlockdemocracy.org.uk/page/164357/...

Crowds will gather in Market Place on Friday afternoon.

It was great visiting the Cupar Royal Mail sorting office this morning - Royal Mail workers have to deal with double the usual volume of post over the Christmas period and I'm very appreciative of all their hard work! 📮❤️

Just heading home after a long and difficult week, but am over the moon that MPs voted for my Private Members Bill to stop puppy smuggling. Strange to think that I've had a bigger impact on animal welfare today than I have had in 16 years practicing as a veterinary surgeon.

Proud to be a sponsor of @dannychambers.bsky.social's bill to combat the smuggling of dogs, cats and ferrets. It's long overdue and something our animal charities have demanded for years. Was great to see it get support from the govt and opposition too!

Good inter agency work on #Paddock Way #Hinckley with Local Council, County Council and Police looking at issues around parking, repairs and ownership. Great to be joined by County Cllr David Bill

Today is White Ribbon Day, which raises awareness about the role men & boys have in preventing violence against women and girls. This can be done by challenging the harmful attitudes that perpetuate violence & inequality in our society. Media plays a powerful role in this work.

I have no words

Wet windy and rather cold..... time for the fire and a good book
