Listen, OF COURSE rejections hurt. We all get impostor syndrome. But in the grand scheme of a writing career, one rejection is not an indicator of anything other than that one person didn’t feel they could best represent your story. #writingcommunity

I’ve settled on a new first line for #SnowWhiteWIP after sharing it with my IRL write club today. Setting the tone of the book, getting across my voice as a writer, hooking the reader and introducing the main character in one short sentence is pretty damn tricky, right?
