Feeling tabby hate angry today. Used @resist.bot to send a few emails and @5calls.org to call my senators/representative. I was able to talk to an actual person and I was able to leave 2 voicemails. Finally they cleaned out their mailbox. Taking an afternoon walk to try to settle down. 🤬🤬🤬

Way too much excitement for a Tuesday night. An armadillo in the backyard had Ella barking for over an hour. Not much I could do. I came inside and finally the rascal escaped. I told Ella she wasn’t sleeping with me tonight. It didn’t take much whining to get her way.

Just received an email from a deployed soldier I’ve been writing to for the past several months. She’s home and sent me pictures of her new apartment. Her first place all on her own. I’m happy that she’s back home and enjoying life. Simple pleasures indeed. ❤️

Today’s gratitude: An hour at the art museum for a docent inservice. We’re adding a new tour Veterans and the Art of War. An afternoon walk at the gardens. There was a giant camillia bush covered in flowers. Buttons purchased for spring baby hats. Bunnies, lambs and spring things.
