Saw “Our Town” in Vermont (while half the state was busy protesting), with Noah Kahan songs sung by the cast at the top of each act, and the Director gave a shout out to @hesherman.bsky.social for his wonderful book, “Another Day’s Begun.”

every news story is basically IMPOSSIBLY BLATANT CORRUPT THING TRUMP OR MUSK JUST DID and it doesn't seem great

You all understand the assignment. Failure is not an option, internet. 🚀

For your Friday fun.

I hope America is as lucky as the delta jet - everyone survives but the right wing explodes

My annual January 29 commemoration: It’s Anton Chekhov's birthday. Long for the life you don’t have. Engage in unrequited or doomed love. Praise art. Drink vodka. Write sad comedies. Yearn for Moscow.

Not advice. Not a prescription. Just me trying to find a way forward for myself. www.npr.org/2025/01/18/n...

Trump's inauguration is going to be like a community theater rendition of "Anything Goes." Very low production values. Like Patti LuPone tap-dancing in a mall food court, only without the talent.

Watching the scorpions eat each other is the only fun I expect we are going to have in the next four years.

Thanks @melissaanelli.bsky.social for Jingle Spells’ annual reappearance in our holiday mix!

Obstruct the kakistocracy.

Ouch.
