I received an email from the IFLE Office directly, which confirmed this news. What a very sad loss for our country, and what a poor way to repay the care, commitment, and incredibly competency of the IFLE staff and leadership.

As a #FulbrightAlum, this is terrible news. The grant builds understanding and tolerance both ways and is an incredibly easy soft power diplomatic tool. Illegal moves like this to end the IFLE close off America to the World and makes us less safe.

Today EPA chief Lee Zeldin announced that the agency is rolling back 31 regulations. He's taking aim at mercury, soot, and toxic pollution restrictions, and federal protection of wetlands. The EPA will also rewrite rules limiting pollution from fossil-fuel plants and cars, and more.

I cannot wait until the midterm elections next year. I hope the majority of republicans get unseated. If not for the economy, farmers getting screwed by tariffs, defunding NIH re: cancer research, agencies shut, jobs lost, w/e they’re doing w the dept of ed or SS- or giving musk ultimate power. 🤮

I hope whoever has cancer or has a loved one with cancer that voted for Trump gets exactly what they deserve. My mom’s chemo is working for her now but she was informed this morning there will be no further research at the teaching hospital she goes to for her treatments if this med stops working. 🖕🏻
