Why doesn’t Elon Musk just GIVE UP his Canadian citizenship? What’s he hanging onto it for? Canada is neither his birthplace nor his residence. I think Trudeau’s last act as PM should be to revoke it and give Musk the traditional “Trudeau salute”.

You are somebody’s “the one who got away”. They still think about you once in a while and they wonder what could have been.

It's important to remember that Elon Musk was a giant sack of crap long before we knew he was also a Nazi.

Almost home! Fan Expo Vancouver was another fun weekend with my comic book peeps but DAMN… the travel is never what you’d call “fun”.

As a result of this game, the United States must disband and can never challenge for the tag team titles again.

HEY VANCOUVER! I’ll be all up in ya this weekend for Fan Expo at the Convention Centre. Visit me at Table P07 in Artist Alley for comics, books, stickers, pins and my charming AF smile! BRING MONEY, BUY COMICS!!!

Tradition holds that American elected officials are sworn into office with their hand on a copy of the bible. This is tradition, not law. They can use any book. Personally, I’d ask to be sworn in on a 9.8 graded copy of Amazing Fantasy 15, the first appearance of Spider-Man for one simple reason…

A schwack of Canadian creators will be at Vancouver Fan Expo this weekend: @maxdunbar.bsky.social @fearlessfred.bsky.social @marcusto.bsky.social @daxgordine.bsky.social @ramonperez.bsky.social @anthonyruttgaizer.bsky.social @davemccaig.bsky.social @agnesgarbowska.bsky.social (and me!)

My new grumpy old man complaint is WhatNot sellers who sing along with whatever music they’re playing in the background of their streams. Fucking. STOP!

I am now officially “use the government’s retirement income calculator to see where I’m going to stand financially in my rapidly approaching old age” years old. Thank god for rent control.

Today’s random comic book: Cyrus Perkins and the Haunted Taxi Cab! by @davedwonch.bsky.social

Oh damn!!! You have no idea how happy this makes me, Ron!

Today’s (not quite) random comic book: Wonder Woman, Vol.2, Iss.72. This was Lee Moder’s first issue on the series and features the most iconic of Brian Bolland’s WW covers. This particular copy was signed by Lee at a convention in Pittsburgh in 1994 and has just today arrived in my possession.

Wanted to ask my Mom a question about herself last night. Mom’s been gone nine years. Thought there’s zero chance Dad would remember this little piece of trivia but it’s moot because Dad has been gone for two months. The only other person I can ask is “The Waltons” actress Michael Learned.

Today’s random comic book: Daredevil #196 featuring the error with Wolverine’s claws. How did that make it past editorial?

Somewhere in the NHL head offices, there’s a file folder marked “European expansion plan” and I would probably die a little inside if I were ever allowed to read through it. ☹️☹️☹️ How many teams would they add and in what cities? Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike Gary Bettman?

A Black woman named Aliyah was struggling to find work. So, she catfished herself and made a fake profile on LinkedIn named "Emily." Emily had the same qualifications as Aliyah but received 57.9% of interview invites while Aliyah received 8.9% This is what we mean when we say racism is systemic.

Fuck the 2nd Amendment. Enact the 25th Amendment before Emperor Cheeto Dust starts invading sovereign nations.

Today’s random comic book: Ms. Marvel, volume 1, issue 3. This comic comes from the personal collection of the late Lee Moder, as evidenced by his name written front and centre on the cover.

Since we’re all up in Ben Grimm’s beeswax today, here is a Lee Moder drawing of Thing that I inked and modded into a corner box.

Today’s random comic book: Uncanny X-Men #141, signed by John Byrne. I may resubmit now that CGC has the JSA verification gimmick. I actually have photos of Byrne signing my books as I look on. 😊

CANADIAN COMIC BOOK FANS! This would be a perfect time for you to look into Canadian creators and buy some Canadian made comic books! Heroes of Homeroom C is the story of twin 12-year old superheroes who lose their powers and get sent back to public school. Message me to purchase your copy today!

Today’s random comic book: Scott Pilgrim: Full-Colour Odds and Ends 2008
