I picked up Local Man because of my undying love for @hackintimseeley.bsky.social, and the story he and @tonyfleecs.bsky.social did on that work was phenomenal. Sad to see it go, but happy that it exists. I heard they’re working on something together again, and I am very much looking forward to it!

Watching the credits roll on Veilguard, and god damn, what a game. The combat was crisp, the characters enticing, and the story felt like an appropriately climactic finale to the story being told in the franchise thus far. Definitely gonna have to give this another playthrough or two.

It’s been really fun seeing how my reading of older comics affects my reading of modern comics. Like, I could not care less about Ben Reilly, not in the slightest. But I really like Kaine and Janice. The Hallow’s Eve power is so visually fun, and Kaine is dope. So I put up with Ben, for them.

Reading 90s Spidey is so interesting because you get to see the proto versions of all these characters that Bagley will refine during Ultimate Spider-man. I can see the characters that will be in the art and it’s always a little weird.

I’m in a comics and posting mood, so here goes #MarvelTop3! Number one is unquestionably Spider-man, followed by Laura, and then Matt. I’ve loved Laura since she was first introduced, and the 2000s movies soured me on Daredevil until I read the Bendis run, and he’s been a favorite since.
