The Texas Department of State Health Services is reporting that 624 measles cases have been confirmed since late January. This is an increase of 27 since the April 18 update. Of these cases 64 have hospitalized and 2 have died. 602 cases are among unvaccinated people.

Vice President Vance’s visit in Rome did not go as planned: no one likes him even in Italy! At the Vatican they call him Baby Catholic (vance converted to Catholicism recently). The pope is recovering so he sent someone else with the mission of talking about wars and immigrants.

Jess Yass donated to Gov. Greg Abbott so that he could distribute the money to republican representatives and buy their votes in favor of vouchers. The investment of $12 millions resulted in $1 billion per year going to private schools. Better than investing in the stock market.
