At the end of the day; your responsibility is getting the most accurate information you can; that you have received; into the appropriate hands.

The people that usually carry out these (99%) scams usually do not carry out perfect security hygiene and give themselves away.
I do not mean to demean or minimise a possible threat; as anything may be possible these days; but being realistic can help ground and calm you in such a situation.

Overall; calm and cool needs to be the order of the day.

4: Quietly let school management know verbally also. This heads off any email leaks or inopportune calls at bad times. It also helps the appropriate authorities take charge of the situation and allow you to focus on what you are able to.

3. If you are at a computer - not a phone - open a new mail and address the school management and the local Gardai and - importantly - drag and drop the suspicious email into that
Doing that preserves important information that can be used to help track things down

So; if you’re a parent or school worker and you get an email like this?
1: Don’t panic. This includes making any type of scene or situation. It won’t help things.
2: Unless it’s widely known that the person named or purported to be named in the mail is problematic; a kind & caring approach is needed

What makes this worse is that now it’s been done once here on the island of Ireland; it’ll be done more times.
Yes; it’ll take attention of the Gardai and that’s dangerous.
Worse is that it’ll normalise this type of doxxing and bullying of people.

Finally twigged with him that people don’t want a feed entirely of 6 ads for one post from someone they grudgingly follow for dutiful reasons, then?

Not surprised. Probably because that waste of biomass wants to train his “AI”
(Which he appropriated the name of a good nerd term for; as per expectations)
