I am sure it is a coincidence that a majority of the review's authors/contributors are of one mind on the pandemic response. /s
We should take their recommendations with a healthy dose of skepticism. It is unfortunate that media headlines don't reflect the bias of this panel.

Another one of the authors, Dr. John Carly
"Dr. John Conly says N95 masks cause 'harms,' focus should be on physical distancing"
He was very worried about acne from masks during the pandemic.

Dr. Blaine Achen. Yep, he was one of the authors.
He somehow got himself tangled up with the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, John Carpay's group which helped lead the freedom convoy, and who provided legal counsel to those charged.

Dr. David Vickers co-authored an opinion piece offering his conclusions about the pandemic 2 years ago.

Dr. Rashad Chin was also a fan of the PPC.
"Chin's Twitter feed is filled with retweets that question COVID-19 lockdowns and the value of vaccines, including videos of People's Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier."

Byram Bridle was also a favourite in the anti-public health measure circles for a while in the pandemic.
David Speicher appears to be a PPC candidate.

Some of the names are instantly recognizable. Jay Bhattacharya is Trump's pick to lead NIH. He authored "the Great Barrington Declaration" which in 2020 proposed vulnerable people shelter in place while the rest of us catch COVID (in the pre-omicron era!).

Thanks Janice. That was my plan. To share with a few MLAs. Maybe I should do a formal one but that seems like considerably more effort and time (which is a luxury I can’t afford!)

I have given up hope that any accountability will come from media stories. They have had countless negative stories uncovering conflicts, criminal charges, bullying colleagues, etc and none of it seems to matter. Their base doesn't believe mainstream media. Not sure what the answer is.

I once asked someone in media about this. It was after Scott Moe appeared in a federal committee re carbon tax in March.

Thanks for writing this Catherine. I hope that you will be willing to share more "insider baseball" pieces with the general public, especially those of us who live in the prairies where we are fighting an uphill battle against our prov govts who deny the reality of climate change.

I remember reading about something sort of like this in the years following the 1918 pandemic. There is barely any mention of the flu in media and pop culture in the years immediately after that pandemic. A sort of short term amnesia/denial occurs
