2 - For binary signals a delay/identity transformation seems fine, but for CV it seems you need delay plus some other transformation, and that transformation probably needs its own pattern/sequence

1 - I've kicked around the idea of broader sequencing with delays, and lately I've been thinking more about delays on CV. I can't decide if this is a wonky concept or if it could enable more expressive sequencing.

There might be a practical vs possible distinction here. It seems possible to train a model to "fill in" the missing information using a dataset of compressed/raw pairs. However it seems impractical to do given the extra processing it would require up front and entail later on. Nice work BTW
