I went to a meditation day retreat this past weekend. It was disheartening, although not surprising, to me that out of 45ish people I was one of 2 who wore a mask. No fans, no air purifiers, no open windows in the room. Almost no one put their pronouns on their name tags. Hardly Engaged Buddhism.
