can't spell tariffs without ffs

Today, the spouse and I watched soccer (Liverpool demolished Tottenham to clinch, and there were many minutes of incredibly wholesome celebrating) and it was just a very nice way to spend a chunk of time.

Had a shockingly productive writing day yesterday. Definitely enjoying the new laptop, even though there's still Weird Mac Stuff going on, but appreciate also having the little workhorse I'm typing on now.

Dropped a new old story ghost story:

New old story dropped. "Stages of Pre-Bereavement" is up for sale as a little ebook.

Evergreen.

Finished watching The Pitt (aka "the sad hospital show") and those 2020 flashbacks and the anti-anti-masking PSA were really undermined by the hospital staff walking around unmasked.

All the cool kids are on Itch, and now I am too. First up is a reprint of my Victorian occultism and bicycling story "When Mastered, a Graceful Accomplishment."

I want to give the "dire wolf" scritches because regardless of the silly gene editing I am sure he is a good boy.

Yesterday, I re-read a thing I had set aside for a while and it wasn't completely terrible.

I have tariffed the penguins that are on Heard Island and which you were probably assuming did not export goods forgive me they were taking advantage of us so cunning and so cold
